A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema), realiza, neste sábado (29), das 9h às 13h, a feirinha de adoção de cães no Cachorródromo do Parque das Águas, no Jardim Abaeté.
A campanha municipal de adoção responsável do programa “D + uma chance, adote uma vida!” é realizada, durante o ano todo, em diferentes pontos da cidade. Todos os animais disponíveis são vacinados, castrados e microchipados.
Importante ressaltar que adotar um animal de estimação é assumir uma responsabilidade e jamais pode ser uma ação por impulso, pois os tutores precisam garantir o cuidado necessário a esses animaizinhos por toda a vida. Um cão, por exemplo, pode viver mais de 15 anos, ou seja, ele vai precisar da atenção do seu tutor por muito tempo, como receber carinho, cuidados veterinários, além da necessidade de brincar e passear.
Para quem deseja adotar um pet, o Canil Municipal, localizado na Rua Rosa Maria de Oliveira, 345, ao lado do Instituto Humberto de Campos, no Jardim Zulmira, está com as portas abertas sempre de segunda a sexta-feira, das 9h às 16h.
